What's the best part of making a pie? The leftovers!

It's time to turn off the stove and have some fun. The Any Pie Milkshake is so easy to make.

First, take two slices of pie. In a blender, scoop the pie (crusts reserved), softened ice cream, milk, spice and extract. Blend for a few minutes, processing the ice cream and pie together.

Pour the milkshakes into two large glasses. Crumble the reserved pie crusts over the shakes. Top with whipped cream. Add a straw and enjoy!

You can use any pie, too! If you want to try a creamy chocolate, banana or mint pie, that would be incredible! Just omit the spice.

You can add other mix ins like cookie bits or chocolate chips, too.

This recipe is easy for beginners. All you need is a 24 oz. personal or traditional blender.

ingredients:

  • 2 medium slices of apple, pumpkin or pecan pie, crusts reserved
  • 1 14 oz. container of vanilla bean ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream

instructions:

How to cook Any Pie Milkshake

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a 24 oz. personal blender or larger traditional blender.
  2. Pour the milkshakes into two large glasses. Crumble reserved pie crusts over the shakes. Top with whipped cream.

NOTES:

• For chocolate or banana cream pie, omit the warm spices. Cobbler works, too!
